Writers read, right? Well, conventional wisdom says we should, at least.
In an attempt to live up to my New Year’s goal to read more (and have a gauge of my progress at year’s end), I plan to use this page to track the books I finish.
* “The Art of Racing in the Rain” by Garth Stein — On the eve of his death, a philosopher dog tells the story of the man, woman and child who loved him.
* “The New York Regional Mormon Singles Halloween Dance” by Elna Baker — An overweight, single Mormon woman in NYC loses 90 pounds and falls in love with an atheist
n “Speed Dating” (a Harlequin NASCAR book) by Nancy Warren
n “Slow Hands” (Harlequin Blaze) by Leslie Kelly
n “Earl’s Untouched Bride” (Harlequin Historical) by Annie Burrows
n “Holiday Hostage” (Ellora’s Cave) by Kelly Fitzpatrick (short … too short)
“Under the Boardwalk” by Carly Phillips (hilarious and heartwarming)
“Taste Me” by 2009 Golden Heart finalist Tamara Hogan (intriguing and intense)
n “The End of Overeating” by David A. Kessler (disappointing in that it didn’t have a specific action plan, only vast generalizations about the restaurant/big food industry)
*Book club pick
n E-book

Thanks, Arlene for the mention. I read Slow Hands too. Small world.

You’re welcome. I need to finish another book so I can update my list.
